Constrution continues!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it has been more than a week since I updated you on our progress. We are still in construction mode – WILL IT NEVER END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to look at the things you have accomplished rather than at the list of things that need to be done! I know because I was awake for a couple of hours last night worrying about what needed to still be done. Little help that did except make me tired this am.

We have the bar almost done and it looks great – I will post a picture  shortly.

The kitchen equipment is being delivered next week and we should have a menu I can post shortly.  We are still going with the limited menu of fresh, home made and simple foods. Doing a few things really well we think is better than being all things to all people.

Well I had better get back to work and stop worrying about my long lists!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BB

364 days till next GCBF!

I must say I am glad that the GCBF is over! It went well and we got lots of great exposure – but it made for two very long days. Next year will be easier as we will not be in the middle of development and construction of the PUB & Brewery.

We went thru 8 – 58 liter kegs! There were a few thirsty people there and by observation a few of them may not have felt that well the next day!

CAMRA did a great job as usual – the volunteers were great! THANKS ONE AND AND ALL!!!!!!

I have pictures and will down load them tomorrow! BB

Not much to report – (Don disagrees with this statement!)

I was out buying paint this week for the walls in the PUB – do you know how many paint colours there are? It should be illegal to have that many choices!!!!!!!!! And don’t you love the names – Safari Vest, Native soil, Claret! My next job I want to name paint colours!

We are getting ready for the beer festival – this is our coming out  party! Hope to see you there but if you can’t  come you will be able to sample our beer soon at the PUB.

We are deciding on what appliances we need in the kitchen, setting the menu and making the recipies, plus hiring a cook and kitchen staff.

Meanwhile the building and construction continues – we need to finish the benches and the tables. Then I have to put the foam and vinyl on the seats. Looks simple enough!?

Today I am off to find some lights and some flooring for the ladies bathroom.

But besides that not much is new!!!!!!!!!!!!! BB

PS I will take a picture today so you can see our progress.
